The position of the Master Scheduler is to improve the delivery performance from the Zodiac Aerospace US OEMs to the Central Inventories for the three regions (ZSU - ZSE- ZSS) in order to obtain a better OTD (ZOTD) CLT (Catalog Lead Time) and Customer Request Date (CRD) / Customer Order Promise Date (ZOTD).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
+ Conducts a daily review of the Must Ship report and Sales Order (S/O) Emergency report and similar reports to identify specific potentially late Customer Order (C/O) and Distribution Order (D/O) lines that are at risk to the Zodiac Services promised delivery date (CPD/SPD) and Customer Request Date (CRD). Take the appropriate actions to save the lines which includes the following:
+ Conduct an MRP analysis in M3 to find solutions to meet C/O and D/O SPD CLT;
+ Communicate with the OEM(s) and Buyer(s) to expedite and improve OEM deliveries
+ Challenge the OEMs in order to improve delivery dates to be closer to C/O planning dates;
+ Recommend de-allocation of stock from orders that are planned to deliver at a future date
+ Communicate with the Central and Repair Warehouses to best support total ZS requirements
+ Create Distribution Orders (D/Os) within ZS to best support global requirements;
+ Collaborate closely with the Buyers to prevent duplicate communications to the OEMs
+ Phone and/or email Front Office CSRs to negotiate with customers for later delivery dates when stocks are insufficient
+ Coordinate with external Buyer(s) to find an alternative solution if necessary
+ Reviews the daily CRD Shortage Report and execute improvement actions (as per the S/O Emergency review process).
+ Maintains KPI updates including the Daily Lines Saved KPI.
+ Identifies solutions for continuous improvement based on KPI trends.
+ Participates in special projects and kaizen events as required.
+ Completes other tasks as required to support Purchasing and Supply Chain operations. Places purchase orders and follow up on ship dates expedites and late orders to meet demand
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
a) Knowledge and Skills
+ Computer skills with knowledge of ERP/MRP Excel spreadsheets and Word documents and PowerPoint presentations
+ Knowledge of ERP systems (like Zodiac Services M3 computer system)
+ Knowledge of Lotus Notes
+ Must have demonstrated understanding of supply chain logistics MRP and inventory management processes

c) Education and/or Experience
+ Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area

+ Travel = 5% with international travel a possibility
