The Engineered Materials location of Zodiac Aerospace in Marysville WA is recruiting for Quality Supervisor for its Marysville facility. The quality supervisor is responsible for directing the work of the inspection staff on all shifts. Other duties include but are not limited to scheduling inspectors to support production coordinate and train staff assist in interpretation of quality requirements motivate and coach inspection staff assist with FAI CAR and MRB processes. Will be expected to mentor new inspectors as well as work closely with quality engineers and production staff. Must be a key participant in quality/operational improvement activities may be trained as an auditor. Some travel to other facilities may be required.
Job Requirements :
+ Must have proven prior experience in quality inspection - interpretation of engineering drawings customer and company specifications as well as technical publications.
+ Must be familiar with the requirements of AS9100
+ Must be able to effectively use precision measuring instruments.
+ Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
+ 2-3 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
+ 2 years or more experience as a lead or supervisor a plus.
+ Fluent communication in English is required.
+ Must be authorized to work in the United States.
+ Must be able to work overtime and some travel to other divisions may be required.
+ Must be proficient in Excel Word Powerpoint
+ Prior experience using an ERP system a plus.
+ Prior experienec with quality or operational improvement activities.
+ Must be able to multi-task cross train and work in a team environment.
+ Must be willing to work overtime as required.
