The Zodiac growth strategy centers on three imperatives: growing company market share customer satisfaction and achieving operational excellence. This position will generate consolidated performance findings (KPIs) of suppliers to Business Unit upper Management and Branch Strategic Purchasing to identify and execute corrective actions and opportunities of improvements with underperforming suppliers.
Summary of Duties:
+ Generate consolidated performance findings (KPIs) of suppliers to BU Upper Management and Branch Strategic Purchasing to identify and execute corrective actions and opportunities of improvements with underperforming suppliers.
+ Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product cost quality capacity and fulfillment ensuring suppliers are able to meet requirements for performance quality cost and delivery of components and requirements for AS9100.
+ Track supplier’s performance indicators based on scorecards and rankings to facilitate and develop the supply base’s ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations.
+ Manage suppliers’ adherence to the contract including stocking plan shipping and payment terms rebates and pricing agreements.
+ Lead internal 8D problem solving team related to defective purchase components. Work closely with suppliers Zodiac manufacturing plant engineering and supply chain organizations in root cause analysis and timely interim and permanent corrective actions implementation.
+ Provide leadership during investigations of major problems and or special projects focusing on developing working relationships with suppliers and the supply chain with regard to product development and procurement of parts.
+ Develop positive relationships and work closely with sourcing leaders to manage implement and track supplier/engineering design changes capacity studies and new product introductions and transfers.
+ Challenge suppliers for efficiency and cost reduction.
+ Facilitate problem solving activities that focus on continuous improvement and supplier problem prevention.
+ Work with Planners and Tactical Buyers to provide accurate forecasts to the BU Suppliers.
+ Act as a point of escalation for Supplier related operational issues affecting the BU.
+ Ensure supplier adherence to operational related contractual terms and conditions.
+ Provide technical expertise in solving technical problems associated with product supply and test facilities.
+ Lead in publishing and communicating progress against supply chain metric goals and facilitate improvements
+ Work as a liaison between suppliers and internal functions to clarify requirements eliminate confusion and improve definition of requirements.
+ Provide forecast to BUs.
+ Ensure business unit purchase orders have been created sent confirmed and cost accuracy
+ First level of SLA enforcement.
+ Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
+ Review Request for Quotation (RFQs) and perform cost analysis from BU.
+ Manage logistical arrangements for Pass thru items.
+ Assist in cost reporting pertaining to the BUs.
+ Ensure ERP and SLA alignment.
+ Ensure configuration management is up to date and implementation plan is clearly communicated.
+ Work in close collaboration with the IPT and systems technical integration team.
+ Manage Rate Readiness for development programs (deliverable to program management).
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
+ Education: BA in Materials or Business (preferred) or equivalent education or experience.
+ Experience: 5 years experience in Supply Chain or Materials Management. Program management is a plus
+ Organized and adaptable to priority changes.
+ Ability to manage projects with multi-functional team identify and recommend resources identify potential issues/risks etc.
+ Ability to produce accurate and reliable reports and data
+ Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Excel VBA desired.
+ Other Skills: analytical detailed oriented systematic and dependable. Good communication skills are also required.
+ Fluent communication in English is mandatory. Additional languages are a plus.

+ Strong written and verbal business communications abilities must be comfortable delivering information to all levels of the organization including senior leadership.
+ Self-starter with ability to drive improvement meet timeliness and objectives
