Summary
This individual will develop and/or sustain a proactive Business Performance Project Management process to deliver cost saving business performance and obsolescence mitigation strategies and solutions. The candidate will drive resolution through support or execution of lifetime buys selections of alternate parts redesign efforts or other mitigation strategies and will facilitate and support contract negotiations basis of estimates and supplier statements of work for proposal efforts. The candidate will interact with Program management Engineering and Operations to ensure implementation of business performance and mitigation strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Responsible for developing and executing a companywide strategy for business performance for all ZWWS products.
+ Responsible for developing and executing a companywide strategy for obsolescence management for all ZWWS products.
+ Develop and enforce the reactive obsolescence strategy to resolve known obsolescence cases.
+ Closely cooperate with all product and solution owners to ensure proactive obsolescence tasks are completed on time.
+ Maintain Project KPIs and regularly report financials and progress status to appropriate parties
+ Develop and enforce the last time buy inventory and forecast risks based on planned consumption.
+ Continuous development and improvement of the processes needed to support the overall obsolescence initiatives
+ Eliminate reactive situations and prevent delivery issues causal by obsolete parts or processes.
+ Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree is a strong plus) with a concentration in Electronic and/ or Electo-mechanical Engineering (electronics electro-mechanical mechatronics)
+ 5+ years’ related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong preference for aerospace or automotive manufacturing experience
+ Understanding of Obsolescence Management Electrical Engineering and Subsystems Design to anticipate program needs thus ensuring no breaks or delays in production. Electronic Components (such as: PCBA’s – electrical controllers power transformers logic controls electrical timers) technical knowledge
+ Experience in Procurement and MRP or ERP systems
Travel: Must be willing/ able to travel to US sites and internationally (50% US and 50% Internationally) as needed possibly 6 to 9 times per year

Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully an individual should have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
Other Qualifications - Must be able to travel to US sites and internationally as needed.
