Aircraft Upholstery Tech III Lead

Western Aircraft has an exciting opportunity available in our Interior division. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on high end upholstery for mid to large corporate aircraft. The applicant must have ability to lead a team of upholsterers in the processes and procedures of aircraft interior “soft goods” refurbishment work. A high level of oversite will be required in order for the team to meet quality expectations in a timely manner. The applicant must have the ability to fabricate new foam cushions, strip, recover, rebuild, pattern and sew to specifications provided in sketches, drawing or engineering orders for seats, divans, side ledges and other interior soft goods. Experience in processes and documentation in a repair station environment as well as a solid working knowledge of FAA regulations as they pertain to aircraft interior burn testing and the modification/repair of interior structures is also required.
