<p>The Interior Specialist position is available in the Twin City area. As an UpholsterySpecialist you will be responsible forthe fabrication andrepair of aircraftinterior components. This is a full-time on-site position working inour Part 145 repair station ; Vista Aircraft Maintenance. The schedule for the position is Monday through Friday 7AM to 3:30PM.We are located in Bay City Wisconsin just 45-50 minutes from Minneapolis.Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider of Vista – the worlds first private aviation ecosystem integrating a unique portfolio of companies. We are seeking a reliable with a strong attention to detail to join our team in a state-of- the art maintenance facility.Responsibilities: Completeinteriorwork on general aviation Aircraft in 145 repair station.Perform technical upholstery functions within design customer FAA and aircraftspecifications.Fabricate and install upholstery cover panels and make patterns for aircraft interiors using design/engineering drawings and aircraftspecifications.Complete specific installation and trim tasks in compliance with work order instructions and specifications.Fit panels and windows cabin head liners upper sidewalls lower side panels hatch panels windows cut and bind carpets and cover bulkheads.Create carpet patterns per design drawings and complete installationPainting as requiredWash clean dust restore stock wax polish and detail all areas of aircraftUtilize everyday cleaning agents chemicalsand equipment to ensure the aircraftcleanliness meets expectationsQualifications: Experience in upholstery and sewing is preferred but not required.Experience using basic measuring tools and performing basic math functions.Experience using Industrial sewing machines.High School DiplomaValid Drivers licenseThe ability to read and interpret instructionsOperate hand toolsAdditional Eligibility Qualifications: Valid Passport or ability to obtain oneCompletion of pre-employment drug screeningFBI fingerprinting background check (NATA)Medical dental and vision plans401k program with company matching and no vesting period.Paid Time OffLife Insurance and Long/Short term DisabilityThe affiliated operating partners of Vista are equal employment opportunity employers.
