Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:
+ Loads and unloads munitions from transport vehicles and containers.
+ Packages and unpacks munitions. Determines storage and safety requirements for munitions to include compatibility quantity distance hazard/fire symbol and special stacking instructions.
+ Maintains munitions warehouses.
+ Prepares munitions for shipment IAW applicable directives.
+ Inspects and determines serviceability of munitions to include completion of inspection reports serviceability tags markings and appropriate disposition or use of the item.
+ Assembles and disassembles these items per item technical order instructions.
+ Provides the customer with handling and safety guidance for their munitions. Coordinates and manages the Combat Ammunitions System-Base computer system for munitions accountability IAW current regulations.
+ Coordinates with all base agencies to ensure submission of the annual munitions forecast.
+ Communicates with HQ 00-ALC/LIW for munitions requirements and availability and HQ AETC for lateral support processes.
+ Manages and coordinates with base agencies concerning support munitions requirements for munitions custody accounts.
+ Briefs commanders and custodians of their duties and responsibilities in connection with accountability of assets issued to their organizations.
+ Coordinates and manages munitions availability to support mission requirements.
+ Processes all accountable munitions transactions affecting the CAS account balance to include issue receipt turn-in and shipment.
+ Performs semi-annual and quarterly inventories of the munitions stockpile and custody munitions accounts as directed by the supervisor or Munitions Accountable System Officer (MASO).
+ Provides computer-assisted training to assigned personnel on an as needed basis.
+ Shall be available to work other shifts as required by operations.
+ Practices good housekeeping tool control FOD awareness/prevention and safety at all times.
+ Performs inventories as required by directive or when directed by MASO.
+ Shall assist other personnel and work centers as directed.
+ Must promote Company values policies and standards of conduct.
+ Must be customer oriented and ensure professional coordination with base agencies.
+ Shall perform other maintenance tasks and duties assigned to include TDY and travel.
+ Must be able to work day shift night shift or weekend duty as required.
Physical requirements are as follows:
+ Must be able to climb ladders stairs and portable stands and navigate these without the assistance of others.
+ Must be able to work at heights 20 feet above the ground (as applicable).
+ Must be able to work in extreme heat/cold.
+ Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise vibration proximity to moving mechanical parts moving vehicles electrical current chemicals odors dust.
+ Must be able to bend reach stoop balance push pull kneel grasp crouch crawl work in narrow aisles/passageways and work in close spaces that restrict movement including aircraft fuel tanks for extended periods of time.
+ Must be able to stand for sustained periods of time.
+ Must be able to work primarily with fingers such as picking pinching typing.
+ Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes (as applicable).
+ Must be capable of routinely performing industry standard hand movements required to complete tasks.
+ Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 40 pounds.
+ Must be able and willing to enter and work in confined spaces such as aircraft fuel tanks and beneath floor panels with clearances of 24.
+ Must undergo a physical as required by the CBA or Company to determine the ability to perform the job with or without accommodation.
+ Must be able to wear all required PPE (as applicable).

+ High School or better in General Studies
+ Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.
+ Must show proof of completion of military munitions school and have or obtain an in-residence munitions inspectors course certificate.
+ Must have CAS experience and be able to maintain a drivers license flight line drivers certification forklift operators certificate and may be required to obtain and maintain a class CDL.
+ Must have comprehensive knowledge of AFMAN 91-201 to include but not limited to quantity distance and compatibility charts.
+ Must demonstrate working knowledge of AFMAN 23-110 AFIs 21-202 and 21-208.
+ Must be able to operate assigned vehicles Munitions Maintenance Handling Equipment (MMHE) and special equipment. Must
