This position is located in Ridley Park PA.This position currentlyallows sometelecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.Position Responsibilities:Research analyze and compile technical data for Cargo and Utility helicopter programs (H47/Chinook is a primary program) components and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.Applies systems engineering processes methodologies and tools to the design of system of systems systems and new product development.Derives and develops R and system health requirements refinements to support product designs.Leverage extensive expertise and knowledge of aircraft operations and maintenance support systems to perform field maintenance data analysis trend analysis statistical analysis and root cause corrective action for fielded equipment and systems to improve product quality reliability readiness and assess performance.Support aircraft scheduled maintenance analysis and optimization (ex: MSG-3) activities including the development/update of scheduled maintenance task libraries.Support reliability and maintainability predictions failure modes and effects analysis (FMECA) fault tree analysis maintainability analyses failure analysis and corrective action activities level of repair analysis (LORA) reliability centered maintenance analysis (RCMA) fault prediction/detection/isolation analysis operating and support cost analysis (O) life cycle cost analysis (LCC) trade studies system architecture studies probabilistic risk assessment and baseline comparative analysis to assess design characteristics and supportability issues/concerns integrating these considerations into the definition of the product.Frequently interact and effectively communicates both verbally and in writing to internal Team members and external Teams and Customers. Possesses strong interpersonal skills.Perform technical planning and control; maintain and improves processes and software tools.Develop technical reports and documents that communicate analysis assumptions methodologies results and recommendations.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)Bachelors degree or higher.Extensive civil or military aviation maintenance experience.Demonstrated strong electrical and/or mechanical aptitude combined with excellent organizational and problem solving skills - necessary to apply master knowledge of aircraft system workings functionality and failure effects.Knowledge of reliability and/or maintainability concepts.Experience performing reliability and/or maintainability analyses.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)Extensive Rotorcraft aircraft knowledge (ideally H-47/Chinook).Airframe and Powerplant (A) license (or equivalent training).Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years related work experience Master+7 years related work experience 13 years related work experience etc.)Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Shift:This is a 1st shift position.Drug-Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Boeing is the worlds largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense space and security systems.
