Find your future with us.Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for a Chief Architect for their Aviation Data Management Systems to join their team in Englewood CO . This positions will focus on supporting their Digital Solutions and Analytics (DS&A) organization in Boeing Global Services.The successful candidate will lead the activities to define requirements design and verify the data and systems architecture for our Global Aviation Data Management and Delivery systems in support of the organizations vision to be the leading provider of digital solutions powering every mission and decision in aerospace. The candidate will carry own the end-to-end technology stack for our Aviation Data Management and Delivery tool suite. This will include evaluating and recommending new and emerging data management and delivery technologies and standards and ensuring consistency between data management enterprise storage and all other technical system components.Position Responsibilities:+ Leads other architects with reviewing designs and specification along with outlining current and future vision+ Makes high-level design choices and enforces technical standards including coding standards tools and platforms.+ Leads the identification of design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements.+ Incorporates architecture functions into system development lifecycle.+ Ensure software are designed and installed to meet the organizations needs.+ Assesses of feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives.+ Drafts data and information management products and service standards.+ Assesses impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle.+ Develops architecture and data/information management standards and strategies.+ Contribute to the definition of DS&A architecture principles guidelines patterns and standards including+ Provide effective communication to business and technical community on behalf of the system or project.+ Contributes to the standard software artifacts including the Software Architecture Document Software Architecture models and other standard artifacts.+ Conform to FAA specifications for software development artifacts+ Work across software engineering teams and architects for end to end alignment process improvements and future designs.+ Reviews vendor artifacts and ensure coding standards are followedEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):+ 10+ years of related work experience+ Bachelors degree or higher in related fieldPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):+ Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery+ Experience working in highly regulated systemsTypical Education and Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+6 years related work experience)Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibilityDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana cocaine opioids amphetamines PCP and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.At Boeing we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract engage and retain the top talent.
