We are seeking to fill the position of Senior Avionics Installation Technician. The successful candidate will install, service, and repair avionics on our fleet aircraft as well as any incoming client aircraft.

Responsibilities:

· Perform administrative and support tasks as delegated by or in the absence of the Director of Maintenance

· Plans, coordinates and assigns tasks to lower grade technicians or as directed by the Director of Maintenance

· Possess the training, experience or ability to safely perform repair and installation of all avionic operations

· Display excellent troubleshooting skills with knowledge of electronic and electrical theory

· Knowledge of airfield and radio communication protocol

· Familiarization of Parts 43, 91, 135 and 145 of the FAA regulations

· Consults manufacturers’ manuals and aircraft maintenance manuals for specifications to determine the extent of repair or replacement according to malfunction

· Replaces or repairs worn or damaged components

Qualifications and Skills

· Must have five years or more experience of Avionics repair and installation

· Installation experience with Garmin avionics systems including ADSB

· Corporate aviation experience preferred

· Airframe and Powerplant License a plus but not required

· Ability to work in a busy 145 repair station

· Self-starter

· Team-oriented

· Able to effectively communicate on various levels of technicality between customers and manufacture representative

· Highly organized and thorough in performing duties and completing paperwork

· Able to read and understand technical publications

· Knowledge of MSDS precautions

· Willingness to work shifts outside of normal working hours including nights and weekends as necessary
