As a Sr Product Support Engineer you will be using your skills and hands-on expertise to provide technical support and troubleshooting for our product and system prototypes. Youll be responsible for assessing our customer needs and determining the most appropriate technical solution for concept and prototype products and systems. Youre technical responsibilities include product installation testing error/defect detection and correction and coordinating the appropriate corrective action with engineers and operators. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable turn-key command/control communications integrated ISR force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense Department of Homeland Security commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations engineering and full lifecycle management across domains air land sea space and cyber. Learn more about MST Must-haves: Bachelors degree in a related field of study and typically 10 or more years of related experienceProgressive hands-on experience with wireless networks tactical communications and personal computersCommunication and customer interface skillsComprehensive understanding of system level maintenance of networks and communications systemsAdvanced understanding of the fundamentals of tactical datalinks and how to integrate them into military operationsAdvanced understanding of the USAF TACP operations tactical air and ground communications and a thorough understanding of networking operations Expert in Link-16 Situational Awareness Data Link (SADL) Mobile Adhoc NETworks (MANET) TRAX and various other protocols/military tactical data linksAn active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
