We are seeking a Structural Technician with a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant experience. In this challenging fast-paced environment youll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to perform modifications and alterations to aircraft to support the design and creation of the most groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies - those that exist today and those that will shape tomorrow. What to look forward to: As an Structural Technician you will be using your skills and expertise to perform variety of our operations procedures to assemble and/or create major assembly structures and minor part-fitting operations. Youll be responsible for modifying incomplete and complete assemblies and incorporating the changes into the structure monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures and performing various maintenance duties.Job Description:Employee will be responsible performing in depth sheet-metal repairs and modifications on both piston and jet aircraft in the general aviation arena. The position will require the ability to make decisions related to the proper techniques and materials needed to perform the work. Some travel both domestic and international may be required to recover damaged aircraft or repair aircraft at the customer facility. Employee must be proficient in all aircraft manufacturers support manuals to allow complete research into a repair programs or maintenance functions.Applicant Requirements: Technical License - A&P or 5 years aviation manufacturing background Minimum of 8 years hands-on aircraft maintenance structures and modification experience in general aviation and corporate aircraft is a requirement Ability to read blueprints. Must have own hand tools to complete sheet metal tasks. Understanding of all aircraft manufacturers Maintenance Manuals Illustrated Parts Catalogs Structural Repair Manuals Service Bulletins is a must. Excellent written and vocal skills ability to communicate well. Experience with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook No limitations on confined space entry and ability to lift 50 pounds No drug or alcohol convictions within the last 3 yearsSalary and Benefits 4 - day work week 10 hour days.
