By focusing on continual improvement our services remain at the forefront of our industry and we pride ourselves on delivering our services with the highest degree of integrity. <br><br><b>SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Squadron Operations Support Scheduler to support an opportunity at Whiteman AFB MO</b><strong>.</strong><br><br><strong>Position Overview Section</strong> <br><br>SierTeK is seeking a Squadron Operations Support Scheduler to support Bomber Squadron Operations Support (BSOS) within the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC). Scheduling is a challenging dynamic process. Even after the schedule is printed numerous changes are normally required because of aircraft mechanical problems medical issues flight evaluation requirements expiring event currencies deployments and student training continuity. Weather conditions and other factors beyond the control of the scheduler also limit flying opportunities. The scheduler needs to be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a medium-to-high-stress environment. <br><br><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong> <br></p><ul> <li>Develop and maintain long- and short-range aircrew training and flying schedules to support mission requirements qualification training currency and operational readiness. </li> <li>Coordinate daily with squadron leadership training offices maintenance personnel and external agencies to ensure effective scheduling resource allocation and mission execution. </li> <li>Track aircrew availability training progression leave medical appointments and operational commitments to optimize crew utilization and mitigate scheduling conflicts. </li> <li>Manage and update scheduling data within Patriot Excalibur (PEX) and other scheduling systems; publish flight simulator and academic training schedules. </li> <li>Support exercises special events and flying operations through schedule coordination reporting deconfliction and rapid response to last-minute mission changes. </li> <li>Attend planning airspace range and scheduling meetings to coordinate training resources and ensure mission requirements are met. </li></ul><strong>Minimum Position Requirements</strong> <ul> <li>Possess an active Secret Security Clearance or previously held Secret Clearance which has expired (not revoked)</li> <li>Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience working as a squadron aircrew scheduler</li> <li>Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with PEX or similar proprietary scheduling program </li></ul> <br>SierTeK is an equal opportunity employer.
