The first application of this technology is the production of blades and fan cases for the LEAP engine developed by CFM International designed to power the next generation of single-aisle aircraft: therefore we make our employees proud. Our Quality Department focuses on auditing calibrating data-mining and problem-solving of process and products. As the Quality Specialist you will interact regularly with Manufacturing Engineering and Customers to establish document evaluate and disposition product and process performance in accordance with AS9100 internal and customer requirements. This position reports directly to the Quality Manager is open immediately and offers a highly competitive salary.Principal duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead the deployment of customer and internal guidelinesLead and participate in Root Cause Corrective ActivitiesResponsible for the management and reduction of non-conformities on one or more Product linesResponsible for the management and reduction of reworks on one or more Product linesUse appropriate tools to analyze data make sense of it and recommend process improvements to the Quality Manufacturing and Engineering departmentsGather materials for periodic testingIndependently perform lab testing to established tests procedures in line with laboratory standardsWrite and distribute test reportsComplementary DescriptionThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age race color ethnicity religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin disability veteran status genetic data or other legally protected characteristics under applicable state or federal laws.Job RequirementsThe successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in appropriate science engineering or engineering technology field; or 3+ years of manufacturing experience as a manufacturing engineer; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with lean manufacturing and/or 6 Sigma techniques and in leading DMAIC FMEA R&R 8D and analyzing results. Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools (preferably PowerB1) as well as in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint. Extensive experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 implementation and auditing and working knowledge of MSA techniques.
