We are caregivers first and foremost and we will be there when you need us.</p><h3>Pilot Incentives:</h3><p><b>Salary range $102073 - $107399 including 15% Geo Modifier</b></p><p><b>$22750K Annual stipend</b></p><p><b>$15K Sign on Bonus subject to eligibility</b></p><p><b>Retention Bonus plans ($40000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)</b></p><p><b>On Duty Housing</b></p><p><b>Schedule 14-on/14-off</b></p><h3>JOB SUMMARY</h3><p>The Rotor-Wing Strike Team Pilot assists with coverage of open shifts as needed at assigned bases and provides assistance with the start-up and standardization of new bases. They are responsible for all operations involving company aircraft is in compliance with the Federal Aviation Regulations Part 135 Air Evac EMS Operations Manual and all state or municipal regulations.</p><h3>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES</h3><ul><li>Creates pilot information guide to include location frequencies and procedures to be used when flying into hospitals and other EMS agencies.</li><li>Conducts local area orientation as required.</li><li>Informs the Regional Director of Flight Operations anytime the necessary information for flight planning is not available or up-to date.</li><li>Operates the aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on compliance with the Rotorcraft Flight Manual</li><li>Monitors forecast changes and current weather situations</li><li>Conducts preflight of the aircraft prior to starting shift and/or accepting any transports or flights. Preflight will be conducted utilizing the appropriate rotorcraft flight manual. Discrepancies noted during the pre-flight will be noted in the engineering log with a notification to maintenance of the discrepancy and what corrective action is being taken</li><li>Reports any major malfunctions aircraft damage or injured personnel to Operations Center in the most expeditious manner</li><li>Ensures that all operations involving Company aircraft are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations the Air Evac Operations Manual and any state or municipal regulation; thus ensuring safe efficient transport</li><li>Performs any housekeeping duties required to make the crew quarters and hanger area neat clean and presentable along with nurse paramedic.</li><li>Wash wax and clean aircraft as needed along with nurse paramedic and maintenance personnel.</li><li>Submits all appropriate paperwork in a neat and timely manner</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><h3>MinimumRequirements</h3><ul><li>Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate</li><li>Helicopter instrument rating</li><li>Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate</li><li>2000 Total Flight Hours</li><li>1500 Helicopter Hours</li><li>1000 Helicopter PIC Hours</li><li>500 Turbine Helicopter Hours</li><li>100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided</li><li>200 Instrument Hours (Actual / Hood / SIM) 50 Hours Actual in Aircraft</li><li>230 pound weight limit with flight gear</li><li>1 year experience with any GMR Air company – preferred</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li><b>EC135 Aircraft Experience</b></li><li>High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher</li></ul><h3>Why ChooseAir Evac Lifeteam?</h3><p>Asa leaderin air medical careAir Evac Lifeteamis one of Global Medical Response(GMR) family of solutions.
