Job DescriptionQuality TechnicianCypress CAAs a Quality Technician you will have the opportunity to cover several test and inspection operations on the shop floor. These may include the use of various hand tools gauges fixtures and equipment to perform mechanical and analytical testing of the ceramic matrix composites components manufactured on site.Our team is comprised of a broad range of experts in the fields of materials manufacturing and test engineering. In fact over 30000 Rolls-Royce engines are currently in service with 650 airlines freight operators and lessors and 4000 corporate operators.Key Accountabilities: Operate a variety of machines such as load frames and high temperature furnaces Prepare and test material samples as well as process and analyze test data Work in accordance with work instructions safety procedures and quality procedures Assist with the development and documentation of new procedures as well as updating existing procedures Implement improvement initiatives up keeping of 5S activities and housekeeping standards Ability to use basic math and troubleshoot to work beyond step-by-step instructions Must be able to work on rotating shifts and overtime if required inclusive of weekends and holidaysRolls-Royce is a Military Friendly Employer.
