Professional Instrument Courses, a highly successful 39 year old national flight school, located in Old Saybrook, CT, and specializing in instrument flight training at client locations nationwide, is seeking an entry level Assistant Flight School Operations Manager, full time. You will be working with our current Operations Manager, who will be retiring. Position will lead to promotion to Operations Manager. You must be an FAA Certified Flight Instructor for Airplane and Instrument. Salary negotiable. This position will have a partial ownership opportunity.

Primary responsibilities include assisting the Operations Manager with:

Instructor support.

Simulator support.

Updating curriculum as needed.

Instructor standardization.

Requirements:

No management experience necessary

Must have FAA CFI Airplane and Instrument ratings, and experience as an instrument flight instructor.

Must have at least a BasicMed aviation medical.

Highly motivated.

Articulate.

Ability to relate to others.

Strong desire to learn.

Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulation.

Relocation assistance available.
