DescriptionPort City Air (PCA) is located on Pease in Portsmouth NH. We are a full service 24/7 fixed base operator (FBO) and multi-faceted aviation services company offering a variety of services for many different size aircrafts such as maintenance fueling cleaning and more!POSITION SCOPEThe Line Service Technician provides ground service for aircraft of any size day-to-day housekeeping and grounds keeping for our facilities. This is an entry level position where you will learn how to tow marshal and fuel aircrafts. Pay: $16.00 to start 1st Shift 5am to 1pm2nd Shift 1pm to 9pm3rd Shift 9pm to 5am Differential for 3rd ShiftDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer serviceAnticipating customer needsMarshaling the aircraft to the parking areaRefueling the planeServicing the water systems and ground power unitsTowing and deicing the planePerform the day-to-day housekeeping and grounds keeping for a wide range of airport facilitiesWorking safely with various types of equipmentREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIESHigh school diploma or GED.Previous aviation experience helpful but not necessary.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Physically capable of safely working with and around various types of equipment while outside in all types of weather day or night.Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.Ability to work a flexible schedule as we are a 24/7/365 operation.Good attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication.Valid Drivers License.Reliable transportation.Must pass the FAA and Homeland Security background checks as well as complete a pre-employment drug screening.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift 50+ lbsAbility to ascend/descend a ladderAbility to bend kneel push pullAbility to stand for long periods of timeBENEFITS For FT Employees8 paid holidaysAnthem medical (includes vision)HSA 401k after 90 days of employment $15000 company paid life insurance Company paid short-term disability coverage80 hours paid vacation accrued weekly at 1.53 hours per weekUp to 56 hours of sick time.
