Position Summary
As the Event Coordinator you will impact PSA Airlines company culture and employee satisfaction. In coordinating employee engagement events you will inspire committed and connected employees and thereby improve organizational performance.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage program execution and logistics for all employee engagement events including areas of: Diversity & Inclusion Learning and Development Community Relations Recognition and additional Well-being program opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources subject matter experts vendors and stakeholders during event planning.
• Partner with the Development and Engagement Manager in developing and maintaining the Development and Engagement Calendar.
• Manage event set-up tear down and follow-ups.
• Establish standardized event procedures and train staff into properly executing tasks.
• Adhere to event budget(s).
• Assist in evaluating event and program effectiveness administer surveys generate reports and distribute appropriately.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team on internal signage and employee newsletter information ensuring coverage of employee development and engagement programs and events.
• Create presentations tutorials and other informational material as needed.
• Perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of employee activities and company operations.
• Provide ad hoc services as needed.
Qualifications
Required
• At least 3 years of experience in event planning
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to communicate in English
Preferred
• Associates or advanced degree preferred
• Experience with InDesign Photoshop and event management software
