DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overall Responsibilities of the ADO include, but may not be limited to:
Qualified to become a Pilot in Command for NICHOLAS AIR operations, which includes, at a minimum:
- Ability to Obtain a First Class Medical
- Never Failed a Drug or Alcohol Test
- Passport allowing unrestricted international travel
- Airline Transport Pilot
- Have 36months of experience as pilot in command for an aircraft operated under 14 CFR 135 or 121 within the last 6 years
- Previous experience serving as a Chief Pilot or Director of Operations as defined by 14 CFR 119.71 or 119.67
The ADO shall report to the Director of Operations to assist with directing and administering daily flight operations in accordance with established company policy and procedures to ensure the highest level of safety and professionalism.
ADO authority includes assistance in oversight for all company flight operations procedure, standards, and regulatory compliance. This may include oversight of Company:
- Manuals and assist with making updates and revisions
- Training programs, policies and procedures, including ground instruction as necessary at headquarters and/or remote training facilities
- Safety Management Systems
- Anti-Drug Program(s)
- Duties as assigned by the Director of Operations
Detailed Areas of Responsibility and Expectations:
- The ADO must be available and willing to relocate to the Headquarter office in Oxford, MS
- ADO may be required to report to the Headquarter office daily for regular business hours of 8-5, M-F, and may be required to adhere to an altered schedule to accommodate operational, training, checking and quality control needs
- The ADO is responsible for reporting all findings to the Director of Operations, discussing and implement solutions, discuss operations, interface with other company department managers, and regularly communicate with all members of management
- Senior Management has discretion to assign or re-assign responsibility to the ADO
- The ADO must be knowledgeable of all company manuals to appropriately answer questions
REQUIREMENTS

- Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
