+ Provide direction and development of IT&T for the Americas offices of Menzies
+ Aviation and Air Menzies International.
+ Lead and direct a small team in line with the Company’s strategic IT&T business plans.
+ Responsibility for and oversight of start-ups in collaboration with functional teams.
+ Ensuring that all platforms architectures projects and programs in the Americas conform to the group IT standards and policies.
+ Have regular discussions with Regional VP’s and SVP IT on current and future
+ IT&T issues and objectives.
+ Manage operating and capital expenditure IT&T budgets for the region
+ Ability to delegate and manage effectively while capable and willing to be ‘hands- on’ when required.
Essential Skills:
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ The ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
+ Knowledge of TCP/IP networking MS Windows servers and Exchange environments and PC Desktop software applications.
+ Experience of Cisco LAN/WAN core routing and switching and/or similar technologies.
+ Self-motivated and professional.
+ Willingness to travel as needed and provide out of hours and weekend support to
+ 24/7 Ramp and Cargo operational facilities.
+ Fluency in Spanish will be advantageous
