Description, duties, responsibilities
Complies with the station’s attendance/Absence Management Policy standards.
Monitors the operation of the Outbound Baggage Handling System.
Notifies technician of all annunciated faults that appear on the computer monitoring system and coordinates fault location with the repair technician.
Prepares and prints statistic reports using the sortation computer.
Monitors line balancing laser array statistics statistical reports Bag Status Message (BM) pier assignments etc.
Interfaces directly with the user in coordinating and solving operational issues with baggage sortation system.
Ensures smooth daily startups by reviewing checklist and procedures.
Responsible for maintaining Outbound Baggage Handling System Operations records and files.
Initiates changes in the sortation program for purpose of maintenance or operational contingencies.
May perform other baggage handling systems and maintenance functions as assigned.
