ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Knowledgeable of Emergency Response rescue procedures.
+ Ability to communicate information via two-way radio to pilots.
+ Use radio contacts to maintain operational ramp control of all flights.
+ Monitor and communication aircraft arrivals/departures and gate changes that would effect daily operations.
+ Monitor flight delays and coordinate information with airline operations.
+ Document daily log of aircraft contacts.
+ Document/log unsafe operations.
+ When requested provide flight crew unload/offload ramp instructions.
+ Follow pushbacks departures and flight arrival phase procedures.
+ Knowledge of Flight Explorer Program.
+ Daily report preparation to ensure accuracy of information during assigned shift.
+ Portray and communicate Company Mission Vision and Values to Ramp employees.
+ Monitor the compliance of all Menzies Aviation ramp personnel with the safety and security policies and procedures. These policies and procedures to include but are not limited to:
 All Menzies Aviation HS&E Programs
 All Menzies Aviation TOTAL Training Programs
 All Menzies Aviation SSP Procedures
 All local customer fueling programs
 All relevant/location specific customer ramp operation programs policies and procedures
 All local airport security policies and procedures
 All local state and federal regulations policies and procedures
+ Promptly address improper incorrect and/or unsafe actions and recognize correct and positive behavior.
+ Identify potential hazards/risks and report them to management.
+ Support OJT Mentor program through regular communication with HS&E/Training Staff and Station Management
+ Perform Safety Observations of ramp employees.
+ Is able to meet the Station’s attendance standards.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
+ Computer proficient.
+ Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with pilots airline operations manager and Air Traffic Controller as required.
+ Ramp operation knowledge.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to work flexible shift assignments.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to read and comprehend instructions short correspondence and memos. .
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
Possess/maintain a valid State driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals
or authorizations.
