This position is located at The Toronto Pearson International Airport
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for data auditing/analysis data entering and corrections and compliance.
Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but where ability recognizes deviation from accepted practice is required
Normally receives minimal instruction and is able to resolve complex problems with little management guidance.
Requires the ability to audit and process a database of approximately 2000 employees.
Conduct payroll compliance checks making sure employees are paid correctly and according to Federal and State regulations.
Screens employee’s hours worked for calculating or coding errors.
Accurately enters any payroll information not contained within T&A batch files.
Ensures that payroll related transactions are in compliance with external and internal policies.
Maintains a thorough working knowledge of payroll and timekeeping software and stays current with related labour laws and regulations
Coordinates with time keepers human resources and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
Uses appropriate software report writing tools to produce customized and routine reports
Other duties as assigned
Required skills:
 Must have 5+ years experience processing high volume payroll
 Must have experience working with Ultimate Software.Net product
 Understanding of Time and Attendance Systems
 Working knowledge of Canadian Labour laws and regulations
 Advanced/strong computer skills including MS Excel and report writing knowledge
 Exceptional communications skills with ability to follow both oral and written procedures
 Detail oriented and organized
 Must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to work in Canada
 Must have valid Level G or G2 Driver’s license.
 Ability to travel for periods of time occasional at short notice both domestically and international.
 Must be able to obtain and hold all required security clearances and pass required background check.
 Must be able to work extended hours and flexible shifts when required which may include weekends and holidays
 Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
