Description, duties, responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Familiarization with all aspects related to ground handling.
+ Gate set-up aircraft arrival procedures wing walking.
+ Loading/unloading of bags and cargo.
+ Aircraft departure procedures.
+ Know and comply with all safety procedures.
+ Ensures that Menzies/ASIG policies and procedures are adhered to.
+ Performs duties as instructed by Supervisor.
+ Is able to meet the Station’s attendance standards.

+ Possess a minimum of 6 months operations experience
+ Good interpersonal skills
+ Complete reports as required
+ Trained in all areas of classification
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Six months operations experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates Licenses Registrations
Valid Drivers License. Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FFA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.
