Job Designation The Master Production Scheduler under limited supervision develops and manages the Master Production Schedule for all manufactured parts. Job Core Manages and generates daily ERP Planning and Capacity tools to produce an accurate Master Production Schedule that manufactures and completes product on time to customer while optimizing WIP and Inventory levels Collaborates with Production Planners and Production Managers to drive Master Production schedule to execution Monitors ERP changes and audits action messages as required Works with Production Planners and Production Managers to ensure ERP scheduling tools utilize accurate cycle times and TAKT times Works with Program Management to ensure ERP scheduling tools utilize accurate customer demand Proactively identifies manufacturing constraints for critical resources (people equipment material) Audits ERP system parameters and updates as required Assists in developing product demand forecast when necessary to predict future staffing or machine capacity Generates reports and performance metrics to monitor and achieve targets Other as assigned Regular consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary Job Specifications Education: Bachelor degree with an emphasis in Production and Operations Management or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations Certifications: APICS certified preferred Years Experience: 7+ years of experience in materials in a manufacturing environment Skills: Strong experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Planning (MRP) systems Strong experience in production control or order scheduling in an aerospace/manufacturing environment Strong quantitative and analytical skills Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines Solves complex problems and exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to drive tasks to completion Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools Knowledge of Radio Frequency Identification Devices (RFID) Additional Experience in aerospace industry preferred American Production Inventory Control System (APICS) certification preferred Good interpersonal organizational analytical and communication skills Well-organized be able to multi-task and have a high level of attention to detail Customer service driven able to understand and support the business goals and objectives Ability to read write and comprehend English instructions Interface and interact well with all departments of the company Ability to sit and work in an office/desk job setting This requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
