Siter-Neubauer and Associates is currently conducting a search for Quality Engineer:
Plans and directs activities concerned with development application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes materials and products.
Qualifications
Key/Core Qualifications:
Creates and analyzes organizational quality metrics and performs periodic reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close gaps at an operational level
Provides quality customer interface and expertise to proactively assure requirements are understood and satisfied including assisting in complaint resolution and root cause and corrective action determination.
Executes the development implementation and improvement of the Quality Management System throughout the operation.
Provides advanced quality planning support in the development and launch of new products processes and services.
Develops and analyzes statistical data and product/process performance to recommend and implement improvements in targeted areas.
Participates in product development and launch activities including identification of customer expectations manufacturing and test support reliability analysis design reviews evaluation of test programs and material testing.
Provides support in the way of development and evaluation of process capability process control plans analysis of out-of-control conditions and process audits.
Develops implements and audits inspection and test plans standards and acceptance criteria and procedures/work instructions.
Investigates and eliminates causes of quality problems and follows up on corrective actions.
Participates in the design procurement maintenance and evaluation of gauges measurement instruments devices and test equipment.
Trains and facilitates courses for employee development using quality systems tools and techniques such as Six Sigma Lean 8-D FMEA Control Plans SPC etc.
Coordinates part approval submissions reviewing contents for completeness.
Reviews engineering drawings and specifications to ensure mutual understanding of requirements and product performance expectations.
Initiate and manage corrective actions from inception through discovery of root cause and implementation of effective corrective action.
Initiate changes in procedures and processes to correct and/ or prevent defects.
Provide back up for QA Mgmt; DMIR Backup
Coordinate nonconforming material to disposition.
Conducting and improvement of the MRB process. Maintain and improve key KPIs (FTY and Customer DPPM etc.)
Work with multiple teams (Mfg. Mfg. Eng. DE QC Planning etc.) for continuous improvement and problem solving.
Comply and uphold the Employers Aerospace SHE policies and standards.
Comply with the Employers Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
Other duties as assigned by manager
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline
Minimum of 8 Years of experience in the QA field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Aerospace industry
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or capability of attaining
Very familiar and experienced working with AS9100C
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
Ability to problem solve identify errors and deficiencies and perform research with limited guidance
Accuracy attention to detail and thoroughness
Proficient computer skills and using Microsoft Office tools
Familiar with FAA QMS requirements
