The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the Lockheed Martin training team to fulfill F-35 training objectives.The ATC Scheduler will be assigned duties in the ATC and interface with the registrars office scheduling office flying training squadrons and the F-35 training team to facilitate student training.The FSC Scheduler will be assigned duties in a Flying Squadron and must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet squadron flying window requirements. The FCS Scheduler will interface with the ATC Schedulers and the flying squadron to facilitate student pilot throughput. FSC Schedulers will coordinate with staff agencies to schedule airspace tanker and other support assets.Schedulers will work with the Training Management System (TMS) and other computerized scheduling programs such as Graduate Training Information Management System (GTIMS) to schedule instructors students and resources including classroom pilot training devices and flight schedules. Tasks include processing tracking documenting scheduling and generating routine reports. Scheduler will flow the weekly schedules and develop two and three week scheduling shells in support of student throughput. Scheduler will be expected to be proficient in the use of the F-35 TMS and local computerized scheduling programs (GTIMS) in use. Provide training orientation and assistance to newly hired personnel as required. Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required. The successful candidate will implement and support Lockheed Martin initiatives programs and policies as directed.Must be willing to travel to include Squadron CONUS/OCONUS deployments for extended periods depending on operational needs. Position may require the ability to perform in an arduous duty environment and subject to all applicable U.S. Government requirements. A detailed list of these requirements will be available at the time of interview and employment will be contingent on agreement and compliance with such requirements.Basic Qualifications:Candidate must have prior scheduling experiencewith a military flying unit and be familiar withsyllabus-based training. Candidate must have workedin an environment which required them to interactwith multiple functional areas and personnel of adiverse nature. Use of Microsoft Office products(Word PowerPoint and Excel) is required. Candidatemust have outstanding interpersonal skills strongoral and written communication abilities solid abilityto organize and work independently and a highdesire to provide customer satisfaction. Secret clearance is required.Desired Skills:Prior F-35 TMS and/or GTIMS experience is strongly desired. Working knowledge of flying training syllabus. Scheduling experience in a formal fighter training unit. Previous military service is a plus.
