Description, duties, responsibilities

<p>Responsibilities Execute maintenance on various military aircraft as a Contract Field Team technicianTravel for extended periods working at various locationsTrain on routing aircraft electrical wire harnesses basic wire terminations and various other maintenance tasksInterpret technical manuals work cards blueprints wire diagrams/schematics and engineering drawingsMaintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipmentOperate complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assignedPerform inventory control using logging tagging and organizing proceduresMaintain tool control and accountabilityAdhere to company policies and safety programsOther duties as assignedEducation and Training High School diploma requiredAssociates Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferredCurrent Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License requiredExperience 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area requiredBroad working knowledge of FAA regulations aircraft maintenance and inspection requirementsKnowledgeable in documenting maintenance actions in any of the following (USAF USN and US Army) aircraft records to include digital maintenance data systemsFamiliar with the installation of aerospace fasteners rivets nut plates etc.Security Must be a US citizenAbility to obtain a security clearance may be requiredSuccessful candidates must obtain minimum favorable Tier 1 personnel security investigation IAW Department of Defense Instruction 5200.46 DoD Investigative and Adjudicative Guidance for Issuing Common Access Card (CAC)Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical Dental and Vision)Retirement Plan (401k IRA)Life Insurance (Basic Voluntary and AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation Sick and Public Holidays)Short Term and Long Term DisabilityTraining and DevelopmentWellness Resources#J-18808-Ljbffr</p>
