Education/Training (both required and desired): High School diploma required. Associates Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline desired. Composite Course Certificate required. Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in the required task area Painting experience desired. Desktop skills highly desired. Security: Must be a US citizen. Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required. Expertise and Functions Responsible for fabricating commercial or military aircraft parts accessories and trim in accordance with technical specifications and Work Control Documents. Work with a variety of materials such as resins carbon fiber bonding honeycomb fabric and fiberglass. Must be detail oriented in working with various composite materials in all aspects of the composite process including: crafting sanding assembly clean room etiquette class A oven paint booth and autoclave. Work with composites using pre-preg and wet lay-ups. Ability to paint and finish parts to specifications. Use hand and power tools to produce aircraft products.
