Position Title: Lead Developer Business Intelligence
Position Summary
The Lead Developer Business Intelligence will create compelling and action-oriented data visualizations and dashboards to promote data-driven decision making at JetBlue on the IT Business Intelligence (BI) Team. The role will focus on analysis design and development of enterprise dashboards and reports. Key requirements for this position include an understanding of business objectives and processes and technical expertise enterprise business intelligence technologies including Tableau and data warehouses.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and design high-quality dashboards and reports
- Translate business requirements into thoughtful data visualizations and designs
- Administer and support Tableau Online environment
- Evaluate new technologies in the business intelligence stack and make recommendations on potential enterprise adoption
- Recommend changes to enterprise data models to better serve business intelligence needs
- Define design document and socialize BI best practices across the company
- Provide data visualization support to users across the company
- Responsible for designing and documenting report architecture
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years worked in similar field OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience
- Five (5) years of experience creating data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau
- Two (2) years of Snowflake experience
- Two (2) years of DBT Experience (Data Build Tool)
- Strong SQL skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Available for overnight travel (10%)
- Ability to translate business requirements into visualization concepts
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Secondary Degree in Information Technology
- Eight (8) years of experience creating data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau
- 5 Years experience managing offshore resources
- Two (2) years program management experience

- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights and if time permits all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Identify safety and/or security concerns issues incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlues confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))

Compensation
- The base pay range for this position is between $117500 and $150400 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlues total compensation package which may also include access to healthcare benefits a 401(k) plan and company match crewmember stock purchase plan short-term and long-term disability coverage basic life insurance free space available travel on JetBlue and more.
