JSX launched service in April 2016 selling daily flights on 30-seat jets between major West Coast destinations. About the team (Safety):
The Safety Team supports the daily management administration and security of the whole JSX operation. Often behind the scenes the team plays an integral part in providing atop-notch environment for our Crewmembers and Customers. By implementing state-of-the-art technology industry-leading tools and a passion for excellence our safety team redefines best practices to match an ever changing environment.
As a successful candidate not only will you assist in corporate safety matters but you will also manage the day-to-day operations of ASAP FOQA and Fatigue programs generating related reports and assisting the Event Review Committee FOQA Management Team (FMT) and Fatigue Risk Review Committee (FRRC) in reviewing and analyzing data. You would also be supporting the FOQA Program with daily administration and efforts to ensure analysis of flight data for the purpose of improved airline safety. Collecting information including performs database queries/reports verifying established document references and supplementary information via company systems. You will be responsible for compiling and presenting ASAP and FOQA data summaries for use by senior management regulators pilots and other internal workgroups as appropriate. You must be flexible and able to be on-call during off duty hours for screening safety related events and investigation initiation. Assisting in the production of reports and briefings on ASAP FOQA and Fatigue activity case resolutions and trends and issues identified through the program. Prepare reports presentations and statistical data required to keep the FOQA community informed of the status of these programs. You will review corrective action responses to inspections and internal evaluations findings for adequacy. This candidate will maintain FOQA database write database queries program new FOQA events and manage documentation supporting these functions.

Required Education and Experience:
- High School diploma required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs including database and
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle numerous projects at one time and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision in support of the Safety
Department and Director of Corporate Safety.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- BS degree desired preferably in Aviation or Engineering field
- Piloting experience
- Operations Research Experience
- Operations Research Experience
- Basic computer programming and statistical methods experience
- Working knowledge of regulations governing commercial aviation
- Experience in Tracking/Trending/Collecting/Generating Data
May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (emergencies changes in workload rush jobs technical developments etc).
