Job Title Assistant Student Success Center - Aviation III - Federal Work Study Job DescriptionAid staff/students in the Student Success Center during enrollment onboarding and registration. Duties will include answering the phone covering front reception desk proficient computer skills (MSWord/Excel/PowerPoint) clerical skills assisting students with the admissions process and registration assistance.Duties/Functions Serve as front desk receptionist to greet students and determine their needs. Serve as liaison between the High Point Student Success Center and the Aviation Student Success Center. Make sure the lab area is clean and presentable. Communicate with the SSC Coordinator daily via Microsoft Teams email and phone. General filing and scanning of documents as needed. Receive and verify incoming documents. Assist with the admissions application process. Design and develop flyers to post on campus. Make copies and assist with tasks associated with seminars and presentations. Sorting and folding of mail /mailouts. Assist with creating registration signage distribution of signage and take down of signage. Assisting with the administration of placement testing and faculty test. Assist with telephone and face-to-face information for students. Other duties as assigned.Difficult Challenges Contacts Education Required Education PreferredMinimum 2.5 GPAExperience Required Good customer service and organization skills detail oriented motivated self starter dependable and basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office. Maintain confidentiality regarding student information under FERPA regulations.Experience Preferred Strong computer skills (exp with Word Excel PowerPoint). Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing. Previous office experience preferred.KSA Required Quick learner competent computer skills Excellent customer service skills and willingness to assist with other duties that arise.
