Role The Technical Flow Leader 5th Shift provides both technical and supervisory support for Rutland Operations on 5th Shift (Fri Sat Sun 7p-7a). Essential In addition as the Technical Flow Leader 5th Shift you will: >Oversight and leadership for front-line manufacturing (hourly) employees on 5th shift (Friday Saturday Sunday 7p-7a) including executing to goals with respect to safety quality cost production and compliance and coach teams to be accountability / take ownership of these goals to meet customer + Provide technical quality and production leadership to assigned team to assist in resolving problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent + Encourage an environment of continuous improvement for all assigned products / processes; coordinate with team(s) on process / product improvement and provide process method excellence within and outside of the team + Works across the Rutland organization to support shop metrics including direct reports peers Business Leaders Plant Leader and support organizations + Maintain positive employee relations by working with employees to resolve employee relations issues and concerns involving HR when needed + Ensure fair and consistent application of company and departmental policies and practices + Assess employee training and development needs and build / execute training plans for assigned area to address gaps; assesses the maturity of the team and adjusts leadership style to enhance team performance Qualifications/ + Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing) + Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Supervision ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S): + Ability and willingness to work an offshift ( 5th shift ) Desired Characteristics: + Ability to lead and influence a team + Strong analytical and problem solving skills + Strong oral and written communication skills + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills + Ability to work independently + Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines + Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously + Effective problem identification and solution skills + Proven analytical and organizational ability Why join one great company when you can join many?
