DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop guidance navigation and control (GN&C) algorithms for satellite missions. Provide Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals knowledge and applicability to satellite GNC and wider applications. Establish maintain and execute satellite attitude control simulation software. Analyze the stability and robustness of guidance and control algorithms using control theory and Monte Carlo simulations. Design implement and maintain space-borne GNSS receivers and payloads. Undertake requirements capture performance trades and design activities. Actively participate in system level design of satellite systems across all project phases through attitude control subsystem architectural design development. Apply technical knowledge to analyze investigate and resolve engineering problems. Prepare technical responses to bids presentation materials and reports for a variety of applications and customers. Support and actively participate in customer and supplier meetings and presentations at all project stages. Liaise with customer and supplier staff and staff from other parts of GA. Perform other duties as assigned or required. Experience with physics-based modeling of dynamic systems and Monte Carlo simulation analysis. Experience developing software in C/C++ and Matlab/Simulink. Strong communication computer documentation presentation and interpersonal skills are required as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
