Earth Networks has the largest hyper-local connected network of climate weather stations and lightning sensors across the US. This intelligence can be used to increase safety and preparedness around severe weather automate severe weather detection and alerting to maximize administrative and facility operations. Earth Networks is seeking an eager self-starting individual to join our Enterprise Sales Team as an Aviation Account Manager working to acquire new aviation industry customers including airlines and airports airline service companies and other aviation interests. A successful candidate is self-starting team player a problem solver a researcher and uses their knowledge of Earth Networks products and the aviation industry to provide innovative recommendations for their clients. The candidate will be required to use their challenger consultant and key account methodology skills. The ideal candidate will be able to conduct on-site telephonic and ClearSlide meetings in a fast paced environment. Proactively upsell current client base. Respond to inquiries from prospects to define needs and recommend solutions within the designated geographic location. Research accounts and identify all stakeholders for call planning purposes. Seek referrals from existing clients to upsell other clients. Meet and exceed sales goals. Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management. Manage sales pipeline using Salesforce.com and Outreach to enter and keep account and opportunity information current. Prepare presentations and proposals. Ability for overnight travel to client meetings and conferences as needed. Be well informed and communicative about current industry trends. Work more than 40 hours during when pipeline needs solidification. Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience. 3 years or more of business or related experience. Proven ability to make 50-100 sales calls per day. History of Quota achievement. Strong time management and organizational skills. Able to juggle priorities and multi-task. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter that can follow a disciplined and proven sales process. Experience with a CRM; Salesforce.com experience preferred. Experience in the Aviation market and/or airline operations is important. Experience working with High School Athletic departments beneficial. Ability to speak in front of groups.
