Delegated Supplier Quality Representative- $1500 Sign On Bonus NA-United States-Ohio-Valley View DuPont Engineering Polymers is currently seeking a Delegated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR) to join our Valley View team! In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support to the management of customer programs and other relevant functions with respect to the quality of components sub-systems and product-related services provided by DuPont Valley View. This support includes acting as liaison to government and customer representatives advanced quality planning establishing goals and targets for improvement and coordinating all Quality functions as they relate to specific programs. Utilize your analysis skills in this role by generating and maintaining driver metrics supporting customer meetings and overseeing quality improvement programs. You will also be responsible for flow-down of quality and customer specifications to both hourly and salary associates. Our picturesque Valley View site is located near Interstate 77 Interstate 480 and the Ohio Turnpike south of Cleveland. Our clean and air-conditioned facility employs about 135 people and manufactures compression molded; close tolerance machined composite parts for aerospace and specialty industrial applications. Our customers include the major commercial and military aircraft engine manufacturers around the world. Come join our community of solvers! This will be responsible for but not limited to: Develop and implement elements of APQP to include (but not limited to) Contract review product and process quality plans and standard work that assure conformance to all customer and regulatory requirements. Actively seek opportunities for process improvement (poka-yoke control plans etc.). Support gauge R&R evaluations process capability and product capability evaluations along with improvement efforts for new parts. Audit processes to assure compliance to Quality practices and work instructions throughout the facility. Assure inspection and test is effective and efficient in mitigating quality risks. Facilitate and support the Certified Operator Process and customer audits. Initiate monitor and execute Quality improvement programs/events to align with and achieve goals and objectives and customer ratings improvements. Develop maintain and provide quality metrics as required as a means to facilitate positive proactive change. Data-mine and analyze non-conformance data CAPA responses escapes data and other sources of data to identify CI opportunities and drive CI as appropriate. Plan lead and facilitate Quality Improvement Teams and other periodic quality focused meetings assuring timely completion of actions. Support Quality Council with analysis of issues and recommendations for corrective and preventive action. Prepare and facilitate First Article Inspection and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) first piece verification audits. Execute final product release. Support the review of manufacturing planning documentation. Work with Supplier Quality to facilitate corrective and preventive action relative to supplier quality problems and source inspection issues. Issue stop tags / hold tags where conditions warrant. Initiate and follow up on stock purges and line checks. Support Manufacturing Engineering in the design of fixturing and gauging. Identify and acquire inspection and test equipment / gauging needed to achieve target quality levels. Update inspection and test techniques to improve productivity / accuracy and eliminate inconsistencies through development of standards of acceptability. Support the MRB / Quality Clinic Process to identify opportunities for sustainable systems and product improvement. Work in a nonsmoking facility. The successful candidate will need to be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation. The following are required: High School Diploma/GED 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Previous customer service experience Previous experience with ISO9001 AS9100 or a similar system Proficiency with basic inspection hand tools and gauging techniques Must have or being willing to obtain ASQ-CQT certification General proficiency with PCs including but not limited to Microsoft Office Willing and able to work overtime as needed The following are preferred: BS in Engineering Lean manufacturing and / or Six Sigma experience FMEA Control plan skills Experience in Aerospace industry SAP Experience Knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Plan) At DuPont you will find sustainability in our vision our business and your future.
