<p>ADJUNCT - AVIATION: AIRFRAME/POWER PLANT APPLIED TECHNOLOGY POOLThe purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.Minimum QualificationsAssociates degree in Aviation Maintenance or related field.Three (3) years of work experience in Aviation Maintenance or related field.Airframe and/or Power Plant FAA Certification required to teach specific courses.Required Job Knowledge Skills AbilitiesDemonstrate skill knowledge and abilities in the field of Aviation Maintenance.Preferred QualificationsExperience in teaching.Special Instructions to ApplicantsApplicants must reside in the state of Texas and be eligible to work in the United States.Job DutiesMake continuous efforts to advance the quality of instruction.Develop and use a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course outcomes.Required DocumentsLetter of InterestTranscriptsCurriculum VitaeOptional DocumentsCertification(s)Security and ComplianceThis is a security-sensitive position.
