PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Master Data Analyst (MDA) will oversee all tasks and processes associated with the entry and maintenance of ERP System Master Data (Ramco) including the Parts Master List. This is to be accomplished via individual review or through the monitoring of departmental SME data management functions. The MDA has extensive knowledge of how the master data elements affect and trigger transactional data in the systems. The MDA will ensure that all required Master Data parameters have been defined and maintained for required Make Repair or Buy items. The MDA will establish and administer the processes to regularly change or update Master Data as needed maintaining thus a high level of Master Data Quality and partner with applicable departmental stakeholders to ensure entered data allows for optimal system performance. This role will participate as a member of the Supply Chain Team. To achieve objectives the MDA will need to broadly interact with many cross-functional SMEs to systematically identify potential data errors which would otherwise cause significant volume of transactional data to be incorrectly produced and negatively impact our business execution and/or internal or external customers. The MDA will have excellent analytical skills to determine if any requested master data changes will lead to the expected transactional results and to research analyze detect and drive the correction of errors and process deficiencies that impact the data quality of our Part Master.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Create maintain and manage Master Data in Ramco to ensure uniform and reliable information within the system.
+ Develop and maintain written policy and procedures related to the master data management in collaboration with key department stakeholders.
+ Key User for all Material Management Sales and Distribution modules.
+ Key contributor to all projects related to data upgrades and interfaces.
+ Interact and support applicable departmental stakeholders for Master Data.
+ Support projects for implementing new materials into the ERP environment.
+ Analyze verify challenge and manage master data for company parts and components.
+ Review and ensure integrity of parts master data.
+ Challenge and verify ERP Material Master on a regular basis to validate system accuracy and if failures research the issues to determine users involved.
+ Manage year-end master data updates with material masters bills of materials pricing conditions.
+ Collaborate with the Change Control Analyst and Engineering as required to enable New Product Introductions/acquisitions to ensure all materials produced or supplied are correctly loaded implemented and coordinated with applicable stakeholders.
+ Demonstrate expertise and ownership in ensuring material setup and process flows.
+ Understand business requirements and suggest best possible mapping to ERP processes.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information required for accurate Master Data configuration.
+ Manage Master Data Change processes and track all relevant metrics.
+ Perform identified revisions to Master Data as required.
+ Run exception reports and initiate data clean-up opportunities as needed.
+ Interact with cross functional team and Supply Chain personnel to communicate item setup requirements and gather appropriate information for proper item setup.
+ Support project timelines by developing and continually improving the Master Data Configuration and Entry processes.
+ Understand and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
+ Conduct oneself in accordance with Company’s Core Values.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Associate’s degree (A.A) from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 4+ years related experience in data management.
+ High level of accuracy and attention to details.
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
+ Ability to build effective cross organizational working relationships.
+ Ability to consistently perform high quality work within given deadlines and SLAs.
+ Ability to prioritize work under pressure in a dynamic environment handle complexity.
+ Ability to address and resolve particularly difficult or contentious situations generally requiring cross-organizational alignment.
+ Experience working with ERP systems including finance work orders sales and manufacturing functionality preferred.
+ Required to have very good oral and written communications.

+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications and exceptional Excel and Access skills.
+ Familiarity with SQL database management.
+ Ability to read analyze and interpret technical data documents and procedures.
