ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
P&L Responsibility for Repair Development and PMA Team(RDP)
Grow RDP backlog
Adherence to schedule and budget of RDP projects
Harvest and mechanize internal AAR repair development opportunities in all AAR businesses leveraging Landing Gear Services capabilities
Indirect supervision and work direction for direct reports
Oversee development of PMA part development capability for AAR Corp
Develop strategy for development and production of PMA parts for internal consumption of AAR Landing Gear Airframe MRO and Component Services
Hire capable staff and required FAA oversight(DERs) to bring products to market
Utilize internal removal and cost data to identify development candidates
Development of PMA Center of Excellence in Miami FL on site with Landing Gear
Hiring and management
Develop relationships with customers required to gain their approval to utilize AAR Repairs and install PMA parts in their repairs
Develop and implement PMA design manual(leveraging the Repair Development manual QMS already in progress
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; coaching and providing career development guidance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
A strategic planner with sound technical skills analytical ability good judgment and strong operational focus
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university. Masters degree is strongly preferred.
Ten or more years Aerospace repair/MRO experience required.
