The Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible for assigning leading directing or approving work of other AMTs under his/her supervision and participates in the performance of work as required. The Lead AMT reports to a Line Maintenance Supervisor and carries out instructions as assigned in accordance with FAA regulations and Breeze policy and procedures.Breeze is looking for great and experienced talent. Your entry pay will be based on your experience (up to $39.00 starting pay) and our established criteria. $2.00 shift differential added when working from 9:00PM - 7:30AM.Heres What Youll DoAssigns leads and directs the work of AMTs under his/her supervisionEnsures that all work performed and maintenance duties are in accordance with the Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM) and company policy and proceduresResponsible and accountable for all work performed at the local stationCommunicates with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) with aircraft statusComplete all appropriate Breeze forms on all work assigned and performedProperly handle all parts units assemblies and aircraft while in the repair processEnsure that all documentation is kept current as to open discrepancies and completed corrective actionsComplete all associated and required documentation for all maintenance work performed or inspections conducted accurately and correctlySubmit personal OJT Task Cards on time and accuratelyMaintain the work area in a safe clean and operative condition and ensure all tools are accounted for at completion of all assigned tasksProperly care for and use tooling and equipment used for aircraft maintenanceNotify the Maintenance Supervisor and all other appropriate Team Members of any condition that would compromise the airworthiness of Breeze aircraftMaintain a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate and keep the certificate available for inspection by the FAA NTSB or Breeze Supervisor/ManagerPerform other duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Leadership MOC and/or DOMAchieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety Kindness Integrity Ingenuity and ExcellenceHeres What You Need To Be SuccessfulMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent educational achievementMust hold a current valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft types5+ years of aviation maintenance experience maintaining commercial aircraftAbility to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specificationsMust have a valid drivers licenseMust have a valid passport with no travel restrictionsMust have the authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986Must be flexible and willing to work days nights weekends holidays and overtime if neededMust be willing to travel 20% of the timeMust be willing to work with other departments within the company as neededMust pass a DOT pre-employment drug testMust pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background checkAbility to read write speak and understand the English languagePreferred QualificationsUnderstanding and working knowledge of FAA regulations including FAR part 121 operationsExperience maintaining Airbus A220 and Embraer E-Jet family aircraftFamiliar with an airline Maintenance Information System (MIS) such as TRAXDegree in Aerospace Aviation Maintenance or Business Degree preferredSkills/TalentsSkills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)Must be fluent in EnglishExemplifies Breezes safety culture values and missionExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organizationPerks of the JobHealth Vision and DentalHealth Savings Account with Breeze Employee Match401K with Breeze Employee MatchPTOTravel on Breeze and other Airlines too!</p>
