Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking a Fulfillment Manager (Level K) to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina.

This onsite position will provide oversight & leadership to individual contributors for Boeing South Carolina Operations within the 787 Program Fulfillment Team supporting our Material Integration Centers (MIC) and Line Side Control Centers (LSCC) within Final Assembly. You will be managing a team of production coordinators as well as supply chain analysts.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one area in materials management and fulfillment

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships, and partnerships, with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages, coaches, develops and motivates employees

  • Possesses a mindset of safety and quality; influences the team to exhibit Boeing Values and Behaviors

Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment:

To be considered for this position, you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership

  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management/fulfillment

  • Experience with inventory / ERP systems

  • Willingness and ability to work any shift assigned based on business needs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher

  • Experience with the following systems: Kit Integration and Tracking System (KITS), E-Enabled Tracking and Communication (eTRAC), and Order Manager (GXO Warehouse Management System)

  • Experience with safety and quality processes

  • Self-motivated, works well independently

Shift:

This position is for a variable shift (shift 4). Variable shift means you will be assigned a shift at time of hire based on business needs. You will remain on your assigned work shift until a re-evaluation is required. Shifts assigned for training may differ from your permanent work shift. The current expectation is hiring for 1st and 2nd shift positions.
