The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Training Device Technician (Level 3) at the Miami Training Campus in Florida. The Training Device Technician will maintain flight simulators and associated training equipment. At Boeing, we are all innovators on a mission to connect, protect, explore and inspire. Position Responsibilities:

·Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training device;

·Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted equipment.

·Assist with repair and test, install, configure, upgrade and assist in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software;

·Perform general inspections for pre-operations, post-operations and component handling of training devices, assemblies and components;

·Conduct functional tests of training device systems and monitors device instrumentation and bench mounted indicators;

·Assist engineers in troubleshooting systems and support equipment;

·Troubleshoot to isolate faults and repair faulty components;

·Work under limited supervision

Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

·Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts.

·3+ years experience in the field of simulation, particularly aircrew (flight) simulators and/or trainers

·3+ years experience in troubleshooting and testing hardware and software.

·3+ years experience with electronic/electrical systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

·Experience in maintaining CAE, TRU, L3, and FSI Full Flight Simulators

·Experience in assisting in the modification of simulators and training components, devices, hardware and software.

·Associates Degree or Technical Degree

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years related work experience, 5 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
