Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking F-22Project Management Specialists (Level 3) to support the Program Management Office (PMO) under the Sustainment organization. In this role, the focus will be on supporting and leading a portfolio of Sustainment projects including all aspects of lifecycle planning, product affordability, proposal development, negotiation strategy, integration leadership, and issue resolution. The selected candidate will also support fleet readiness and health of fleet improvement initiatives.

This position is customer facing, and will include frequent interaction with the F-22 leadership team, Lockheed Martin and the United States Air Force. This position is ideal for a candidate seeking a career path in Project Management or Program Management.

Position Responsibilities

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Performs project tasks that meet identified requirements by application of, or in accordance with, accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)

• Provides reports, project status and change information to project team per established processes and communicates plan changes and recovery plans to others

• Uses negotiating skills by engaging with specific organizational and project task owners to improve project performance commitments

• Responsible for the development and update of task specific, plans, deliverables and schedules

This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at Berkeley, MO.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• 1+ years’ experience in a role that required project management skills

• Experience in project management such as scheduling, resource management, and performance measures

• Experience working in a cross functional environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

• Experience preparing and delivering presentations

• Experience working with a U.S Military customer

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).
