The Virtual Warfare Center Infrastructure team is looking for an experienced IT Engineer to join our team to support our St Louis location. The Infrastructure team is responsible for the design, maintenance, and operation of the computing, networking, audio visual, and physical environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the VWC Space Team’s operating environment

• Support the Space Team’s event schedule providing onsite technical support

• Aid the Seal Beach and Seattle VWC locations with configuration and maintenance

• Assist in upgrade plans and technology roadmap implementation

Periodic travel (25%) to provide support to our Seal Beach, CA and Seattle, WA locations as needed

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI US Security clearance (Post-Start).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• 5+ years’ experience with Windows Systems Administration

• Experience with the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) security processes

• Ability to obtain security certifications such as Security+ or equivalent IAT Level 2 certifications per DoD Instruction 8570 (8140)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Experience providing system administration of RedHat 7.x or 8.x

• Experience executing DoD STIGs for operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2016+)

Typical Education/Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation
