Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Expert Software Architect to join their team.
COVID-19:

Location: This position can be based out of Huntington Beach CA, Annapolis Junction MD, or El Segundo CA.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform software architecture trades that may result in creation of new distributed SW components and interactions that align with future system architectures.
Support program engagements with partners and customers on software capability, development, and integration into larger systems and system architectures.
Perform definition of software architecture and models needs and coordinate efforts with software engineering teams to meet design, development, test, verification & validation dates.
Perform the development and maintenance of new tools and processes to support this work scope.
Work both independently and as part of a dynamic team environment alongside world-class research scientists and engineers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical degree.
3+ years of experience designing and developing software for a real time or non-real-time system
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with the full software development lifecycle that includes requirements analysis through Formal Qualification.
Experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, Python, JavaScript.
Experience using team collaboration tools including Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
Experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain (Gitlab, Jenkins, Nexus, Artifactory, etc).
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Active Security Clearance
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years related work experience, Master+7 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
