The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Experienced Mission Systems Software Test Engineer (Level 3) to join the Mission Systems Software team located in Oklahoma City, OK. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. This is a software tester position.
Writes invention disclosures to protect Boeing Intellectual Property.
Prepares R & D proposals and presents to internal management and external customer.
Applies emerging industry technologies to develop test procedures.
Reviews critical procedures to identify potential problems and resolve issues.
Develops innovative design techniques, processes, methods, or concepts.
Works under direct supervision.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret clearance Post Start is required.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Oklahoma City, OK.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher in Engineering and/or a Technical discipline.
3+ years of experience with C++, Java or Ada.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working on an Agile Team.
Experience working with airborne radars or data links.
Experience working with distributed computing systems.
Experience working in a collaborative environment.
Experience working with Ada and Linux programming.
Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
