The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Electrical Design Manager to join the Electrical Design Integration group/team located in San Antonio, TX.

This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering

• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

• Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position requires 10-20% of travel

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

• Currently possess a Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

• 5+ years’ experience with electrical design engineering

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience leading all aspects of developing system requirements, architecture and design

• Experience in leading engineering teams

• Experience in Electrical Wire Design

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay ranges

San Antonio, TX: $137,700 - $186,300
