This posting is for a full-time position starting June 16 and ending July 31 2021. Responsibilities will include flight simulator and ground instruction for high school age students attending the Culver Academies six-week summer camp. Hours of operations will be from 0700-2100 Monday - Friday; 0800-1800 Saturdays; Sundays will have very limited flying opportunities and Independence Day will be an observed holiday. This is a high-tempo operation with five sorties per day during the week and three to four sorties on Saturdays. Simulator instruction will be conducted in a Redbird MCX utilizing the Redbird G.I.F.T. program. Ground instruction will be conducted on the Culver Academies Campus and will consist of proctoring students through the Sportys Private Pilot Online course and teaching Cessna and Czech Sport specific materials.
Pay and amenities: Salary will be $1300 per week. Housing is included at a Bed and Breakfast (.1 mile from the airport). Box lunches are provided at the airport and the Culver Academies cafeteria will be open to instructors for breakfast and supper.
REQUIREMENTS:
FAA Certified Flight Instructor certificate with a minimum of 50 hours of Dual Given
Pass an AlphaFlight HR flight and simulator interview
Pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug test
Professional in conduct and appearance
Dedication towards excellence
Adherence to the standardized AlphaFlight training curriculum
