The Maintenance Controller ensures AirShare aircraft are maintained away from home base in compliance with all regulatory requirements for AirShare. They are responsible to contact and arrange for maintenance personnel to clear aircraft discrepancies and return aircraft to service in a timely and effective manner. The Maintenance Controller is appointed and empowered by the aircraft certificate holders’ Director of Maintenance to conduct designated functions of the DOM office. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with all company policies as outlined in the Executive AirShare135 and 91K operations manual, this includes all reports required by FAR 135.

Key Responsibilities:
•Ensures all department affected by a grounded aircraft are aware of the status of that aircraft
•Ensures each Aircraft Daily Status Report, MEL and inspection due list are reviewed for due items.
•Works harmoniously with the DOM, Chief Pilot, Pilots, Mechanics and Scheduling personnel.
•Schedules away from base maintenance and ensures that all personnel working on the aircraft are in compliance with FAR requirements, including qualified to work on that aircraft and that they are on a Drug Testing Program.
•Is responsible for ensuring proper documentation of work performed is completed and with aircraft prior to aircraft departure.
•Is responsible to ensure that all parts and required tooling are shipped in a timely manner for AOG aircraft.
•Works with Shop supervisor and Scheduling to scheduled maintenance and inspection.
•Works with Scheduling and Maintenance to minimize out of service time and relocation cost for scheduled maintenance.

Qualifications:

High School Graduate OR GED

Must have FAA Airframe and Power Plant mechanics license

Minimum 8 years mechanic experience with Turbine power aircraft

Working knowledge of MS Office applications ( Word, Excel)
